Certification System

1.      CERTIFICATE OF BIBLICAL STUDIES

• Assessment by written examination only.
• Eight subjects through Correspondence Course, Evening Bible School, or Summer School.
• There is no restriction on subject choice.
• No scheduled time-frame for completion, unless requested.

 2.      ADVANCED CERTIFICATE OF BIBLICAL STUDIES

• Assessment by written examination only.
• Twelve subjects through Correspondence Course, Evening Bible School, or Summer School.
• There is no restriction on subject choice.
• No scheduled time-frame for completion, unless requested.

 3.      ASSOCIATE DIPLOMA IN BIBLICAL STUDIES

• Assessment by essay [total = 3000 words per subject] and/or written examination.
• Twelve subjects through Correspondence Course, Evening Bible School, or Summer School.
• The required subjects for this award are identical with core section of the Diploma, with the addition of one further subject from each section.
• No scheduled time-frame for completion, unless requested.

 4.      DIPLOMA IN BIBLICAL STUDIES

• Assessment by essay [total = 3000 words per subject] and/or written examination.
• Eighteen subjects through Correspondence Course, Evening Bible School, or Summer School.
• The required subjects for this award are the core section of the Diploma, with the addition of three further subjects from each section.
• No scheduled time-frame for completion, unless requested.

 * Students are not required to submit essays or undertake examinations if they are not seeking certification for their studies; subjects may be audited without academic assessment. These assessments are provided for those students who wish to receive certification for their studies. Students enrolled in Certificate course may not transfer to the Diploma course. Western Sydney Bible School certificate and diploma courses are not accredited by any external authority.
